№ 01 Shows & Sales
Found a treasure at the table? Start a collection you can prove.
Makers host shows and sales — ornament days, pop-ups, demos. The piece you take home joins your collection the same afternoon, with its story attached: made by the maker, found by you, ready for its Glass ID so you can prove it's this one.
№ 02 How it works
Find it. Add it. Prove it.
A minute at the table for the collector; a QR and a confirmation for the maker. Names stay private unless you say otherwise.
For collectors
- Find
Find a piece at the show — the table, the gallery, the demo. The maker gets paid; that's the point.
- Add it
Scan the QR on the table or open Add to My Collection. Sign in, say what you found, snap a photo. A minute, standing up.
- Maker confirms
The maker sees it in Glowtbook — their studio notebook — and confirms it came from their table, usually the same day.
- In your collection
The directory publishes it with provenance: made by the maker at the show, collected by you. Your name stays private unless you choose otherwise.
- Prove it
It's already in your Glowtbook. Register it for its Glass ID and any phone can prove this piece is the one in your collection — not one like it.
For makers
- Host
Open Glowtbook → Shows & Sales and add the sale: venue, date, what you're making. It works the moment you save it.
- QR on the table
Print the link and its QR. Buyers scan it with the piece in their hand.
- Approve
After the show, approve the pieces in bulk — or reject the one that wasn't yours.
- Published
The site reviews and publishes them. Each piece becomes part of someone's collection with your name on it — and a reason to come back for the next one.

№ 05 Host a show or sale
Provenance starts at the till.
A certificate in a drawer gets lost; a record made at the moment of sale doesn't. Hosting a show or sale costs nothing: add it in Glowtbook, print the QR, and every piece that leaves the table can carry your name, the date and the place for as long as it exists. The collectors come back, and — quietly — it's a census of who is making what, where, and what it sells for. Data stays open under CC BY 4.0.
